It isn’t just the end of the road simply enjoying freshly made peanut butter, either eaten as it is or made into delicious sandwiches. Your homemade butters can now be put to use to make wonderful and healthy peanut butter cookies as well! With a few key ingredients you can easily make tasty peanut butter cookies following these basic instructions:
First of all you’ll need a few ingredients to make your yummy peanut butter cookies -
75g/3 oz of soft butter or margarine
50g/2 oz of homemade peanut butter
50g/2 oz caster sugar
50g/2 oz demerara sugar
100g/4 oz plain flour
As well as a little pinch of salt

The first step is to mix together the butter or margarine with your homemade peanut butter and then add in all the sugars together.

Then simply stir in the flower to make thick dough.

Shape your mixture into as many different cookie shapes as you require

Space them out on a baking tray remembering to flatten the mixture down with spoon or knife

You’ll need to bake your tray(s) for approximately 15 minutes at 200ºC/400ºF

Wait until they are the perfect peanut butter cookie colour, personally I’d say a nice pale brown.

Make sure you leave them to cool and then you can get round to the most enjoyable part…
Eating them!
